How AI makes every deal earn its place.
No deal reaches the feed without passing through the verification engine. Every submission is checked against real market signals — best price elsewhere, 90-day price floor, landed cost, dropship risk, and a live health score — then scored and handed to the reputation-ranked community for the final vote.
Four stages, zero shortcuts.
From the moment a link is pasted to the moment a deal goes live, the engine runs a structured pipeline. Each stage either advances the deal or stops it.
Link Intake
The hunter pastes a direct product-page URL. The engine rejects anything that isn't a specific purchasable listing — search results, marketplace seller storefronts, social links, and short/redirect URLs are blocked before any scoring begins.
Market Intelligence
The AI pulls real market signals: the best price elsewhere at reputable retailers, the 90-day price floor, landed cost (price + shipping + duties), and dropship-risk indicators like long shipping times and inflated "regular" prices.
Trust & Health Scoring
A trust score is computed from the deal's legitimacy and claimed savings. A live health score tracks whether the deal stays active, in stock, and priced as claimed. Misleading MSRP claims and tiny discounts are flagged.
Community Verification
Approved deals go live. The community votes up or down, reports stale or misleading deals, and every interaction feeds back into the hunter's reputation — which controls how many deals they can post.
Six signals. One verdict.
Every deal card carries a set of AI-computed scores. Together they tell you not just whether a deal is real, but whether it's the best available right now.
Trust Score
AI confidence in the deal's legitimacy and claimed savings. Combines retailer reputation, discount validity, and whether the "regular" price reflects recent actual selling prices.
Deal Health Score
A live indicator of whether the deal is still active, in stock, and priced as claimed. Drops if the link goes dead, stock runs out, or the price changes at the retailer.
90-Day Price Floor
The lowest verified selling price over the last 90 days. Tells you whether today's "deal" is a genuine low or just a routine sale that happens every week.
Best Price Elsewhere
What the same product currently sells for at other reputable retailers. If it's cheaper somewhere else, you'll see it — so you never overpay.
Landed Cost
Price plus shipping and any duties, for a true total-cost comparison. A "$40 off" deal with $25 shipping isn't always a deal — landed cost exposes that.
Dropship Risk
Flags dropship listings with inflated "regular" prices, multi-week shipping from overseas, and low seller ratings — the classic fake-deal pattern.
What the AI catches.
Here's a submission the AI flagged before it could reach the feed. This is the kind of intelligence that keeps the community honest.
A submission the AI caught — and what the hunter sees before publishing.
- Current price: $12.99
- Claimed regular: $64.99
- Ships from: Overseas (14–21 days)
- Seller rating: 2.1 / 5
- 90-day floor is $11.49 — barely below "sale" price
- Same earbuds sell for $10.99 at a major retailer
- Landed cost with shipping: $24.98
- Dropship risk: high (inflated MSRP + long shipping)
Trust is earned, then spent.
Every vote on a hunter's deal affects their reputation. Reputation persists across the lifetime of their account — it doesn't reset when deals expire — and determines how many active deals they can post at once. Higher tiers earn more slots and greater visibility on the leaderboard.
Reputation is calculated from the accuracy and value of a hunter's submissions — not just volume. A hunter with ten great deals out-ranks one with a hundred mediocre ones.
